The image aquisition hardware can produce colour photos with 8 bits per pixel for earch red, blue and green components in the resolution of 3072x2048 pixels.

The camera is mounted on a moveable holder which can be controlled manually using a component in Iris Finder software. The option to automaticaly adjust the position of the camera in order to obtain a focused image is also available.

Additionally the hardware is equipped with the lamp based on a set of LED diodes. Its lighting parameters can be controled using software.
